Schedule:
40-60 hours per month. The schedule will be defined directly with the family.
Example schedule:
Friday: 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 6 pm
Sunday: 11:30 am to 6 pm
Monday: 2:30 pm to 6 pm
Tuesday: 11 am to 6 pm
Thursday: 11 am to 4 pm
Additional information:
The family manages the interview process. The first step is a phone call with the mother, followed by an in-home meeting and then a trial session. This role operates a bit differently in that the family sets the weekly schedule, which may vary from week to week. While a minimum number of monthly hours is guaranteed, we do not have visibility into the exact schedule in advance.
Hourly rate: 12 euros net
Candidate requirements:
• 6 months childcare experience
• Fluent English (level C2)
• Enthusiastic, engaging and proactive
Role description:
Work with a bright, imaginative child who loves insects, music, and make-believe. He enjoys creating games with plush toys, crafting, and sharing fun facts. A typical session involves imaginative play, crafts, reading in English, and exploring his surroundings (especially in search of bugs!). On longer shifts, supervise pre-prepared meals and help with teeth brushing if needed. He thrives in a calm, playful environment with clear boundaries and responds best to an adult who supports his ideas while guiding gently. English is spoken throughout; materials are provided by the family to continue developing his strong language skills.
